We believe in a simple approach in our discipleship strategy, where all areas of the church are interconnected. To explain that; we use a simple method called “Pulpit, Table, Square.”
PULPIT
The inverted triangle is the pulpit/corporate worship. The upward arrow points the focus and direction of this part of our discipleship strategy which is the worship of God and growth towards Him. Our worship services will center around prayer, scripture reading, corporate singing, preaching of the Word, observing the ordinances (Lord’s Supper, Baptism), fellowship, and giving. The worship gathering will be what binds and directs much of what takes place in the other two areas.
TABLE
The circle is a table in homes, coffee shops, or wherever a small group can gather. The arrows point inward and toward each other with the goal being to see people learn to live in an authentic community and to become family in Jesus. The community and life-on-life groups aim to see strangers grow from basic fellowship to real friendship into a faithful family in Jesus. Community groups are 15-20 people and involve discussions from the sermon, sharing a meal, praying and caring for one another. Community groups have a specific ministry focus they serve together. Life on Life Groups are 3-5 people, same gender; primarily a time for believers to be authentic, challenged and encouraged to walk closer to Jesus.
SQUARE
The square is the public square which represents the community/world. The outward pointing arrows show the focus is on the intentional engagement of the community/world. This aligns with our core value of Missions with the four points of emphasis being; 1. Acts of Service, 2. Evangelism, 3. Church Planting, 4. Missionary Partnerships. We want to take the message of the Gospel to our neighbors in the community and around the world and to make a tangible difference in the lives of others, reflecting God’s love and grace to all people.
